Experienced and ethical
guidance
Stephanie Kwo Friedl Founder/Owner
For close to two decades, I’ve worked with college-bound students, helping them turn uncertainty into a clear plan. As both a professional college consultant and a parent who’s been through this process three times, I know how overwhelming admissions can feel.
That’s why my approach is personal, ethical, and deeply rooted in experience. Families appreciate my individualized guidance, expert insights, and the tools and support that empower students to take charge of their future.
I’m more than an experienced college advisor.
I’m fueled by the pure joy of helping young people succeed.
Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of students through college admissions, transfers, and grad school applications—helping them make informed choices, tell their stories authentically, and submit standout applications. And as a seasoned SDSU, Occidental, University of San Diego, and Northwestern mom, I’ve been in your shoes—celebrating the wins, managing the stress, and figuring out what actually matters along the way.
I stay on top of the ever-evolving admissions landscape through ongoing professional development, frequent college visits, and direct conversations with admissions officers and industry peers. That means the advice I give is always up to date, strategic, and designed to help students put their best foot forward.
And when I’m not immersed in all things college admissions, you’ll find me diving into historical fiction, museum hopping, solving the NYT word puzzles, or binging politics and college podcasts—all while accompanied by my rescue pup.
